Clinical Director and advanced neuro/complex trauma physiotherapist.
HCPC registered physiotherapist with 30 years of experience. Advanced practitioner in spasticity management and botulinum toxin injections. Specialises in complex neurological conditions.
Carolyn Belford
Advanced Clinical Specialist in post-stroke rehabilitation with advanced training in botulinum toxin administration. Also a physiotherapy independent prescriber. Carolyn has a strong interest in spasticity management.
Abbey Forrest
Abbey is an Advanced Clinical Practitioner and Independent Prescriber specialising in spasticity management. With extensive experience in neurological rehabilitation, she is qualified to assess, prescribe, and administer botulinum toxin injections. Abbey’s expertise combines advanced clinical skills with a patient-centered approach, working closely with individuals and families to optimise functional outcomes and improve quality of life through personalised treatment plans.
Oliver Heath
Oliver Heath is a Senior Physiotherapist specialising in neurological rehabilitation and spasticity management. With extensive experience in assessing and treating individuals with spasticity conditions, Oliver provides comprehensive evaluations and develops tailored spasticity management programmes. His expertise includes biomechanical assessment, functional analysis, and the implementation of evidence-based treatment strategies including exercise therapy, positioning, and equipment prescription. Oliver works collaboratively with clients and their families to create personalised rehabilitation programmes that focus on maximising independence, improving function, and enhancing quality of life.

Sian Fraser is the Clinical Lead responsible for quality assurance, governance, and safety across Next Steps Spasticity services. With extensive experience in clinical leadership and healthcare governance, Sian ensures the highest standards of patient care and safety protocols are maintained throughout all aspects of service delivery. Her role encompasses developing and maintaining standard operating procedures, clinical guidelines, and comprehensive risk assessments for all treatment pathways. Sian's expertise in healthcare regulation and patient safety frameworks ensures that all treatments and interventions meet rigorous clinical standards while maintaining compliance with professional and regulatory requirements through continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Anna Candeland-Beaman
Anna Candeland-Beaman is a Senior Physiotherapist Assistant & PT. Our Physiotherapy Assistants play a vital role in supporting the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care. Working alongside our specialist neuro physiotherapists, they assist with spasticity management sessions, including botulinum toxin clinics, ensuring patient safety through monitoring and clinical checks.
They also support with physiotherapy treatments, deliver guided exercise programmes, complete outcome measures, and offer practical advice and training to patients and carers. As part of our community-led team, our assistants help ensure continuity of care and contribute to meaningful rehabilitation outcomes for individuals living with complex neurological conditions.
Pam Willocks
Pam Willocks provides essential clinical administrative support, ensuring seamless service delivery and maintaining high standards of quality and governance. She is responsible for comprehensive quality control of all clinical reports, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution to referring clinicians and healthcare teams. Pam manages the appointment booking system and coordinates all patient scheduling, working closely with the clinical team to optimise patient flow and service efficiency while maintaining excellent communication with patients and their families.
